Right: Krysten Chambrot’s life changed forever when she was hit by a car while riding her bicycle in August 2005. Despite spending six weeks in the hospital, Chambrot, then a junior at the University of Missouri, finished the semester with a full course load. “I’m still here, and I want people to know that,” Chambrot said.
